Service. Hearthseed is a household subscription service. Paid households: $35/year or $2.99/month via Stripe Checkout on the web.

Optional Alexa skill for Pantry (shopping/CART, pantry, cook book) is part of the service when you enable and link it.

Our IP. Hearthseed, LLC owns the Hearthseed service, software, APIs, MCP tools, documentation, and marks (including Hearthseed and related branding). These terms do not give you ownership of any of that. You get a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your household as we provide it.

Your content. You keep what you put in a household. You grant Hearthseed, LLC a limited license to host, process, and display that content so the service works — including writing events to Google or iCloud when Connect is used (see Privacy). No household photos. No unlawful or abusive material.

Acceptable use. No scraping, attacking, or impersonation. Do not connect someone else’s Google or iCloud account. Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the client or APIs to copy the product. Do not use bulk export, APIs, or MCP access to build a competing household product or to harvest other households’ data. Do not resell or sublicense access to the service.

As is. No warranty of uptime or fitness. We are not your lawyer or doctor.

Liability. To the extent Iowa law allows, no indirect or consequential damages. Cap: fees that household paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $35 if they paid nothing.
